Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using portable-powerstation.co.uk you’re agreeing to the terms on this page. They explain what we do, what we don’t do, and where the limits sit. If any of that doesn’t suit you, don’t use the site.

2. Who we are and what this site does

Portable Power Station UK is published by Biztech Ltd, a company based in Birmingham, UK.  You can read more about us and our editorial contributor, Valerie Wei, on our about page.

We research, review and compare portable power stations sold in the UK. We’re not a retailer, a reseller or a manufacturer. We hold no stock, take no payments and process no orders. Anything you buy, you buy from somebody else, on their site and under their terms.

3. Affiliate links and how we earn

The site is free to read because we earn a commission when a reader clicks through to a retailer and buys something. We take part in the Amazon Associates Programme for Amazon UK, and we run direct affiliate programmes with EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti and Anker.

A commission never buys a higher ranking or a softer verdict. Our affiliate disclosure sets out how this works in full, including how we label affiliate links.

4. How to use our content

Everything here is general information, written to help you make a sensible buying decision. It isn’t electrical, safety, engineering or financial advice, and it doesn’t replace the manufacturer’s documentation.

Read and follow the instructions that came with your unit. If you’re wiring anything into a fixed installation, or you’re unsure about a mains connection, use a qualified electrician. That part isn’t negotiable.

5. Accuracy, and why it can change

Our research reflects what we could verify at the time of writing. Specifications get revised, prices move, stock comes and goes, and warranty terms change with little warning. Check the current details with the manufacturer or the retailer before you buy.

We’re open about our method. We don’t physically test the units we write about. That’s research rather than a workshop, and we’d rather say so.

Instead we read manufacturer spec sheets directly, and we analyse hundreds of verified purchase reviews from Amazon UK and Trustpilot. We also study professional teardowns, compare UK retail prices across several retailers, and check UK warranty terms.

6. What you agree not to do

Please don’t scrape the site, harvest it automatically, or copy it in bulk. Don’t try to disrupt it, and don’t attempt to reach any part of it you haven’t been given access to.

Don’t use the site for anything unlawful, and don’t republish our content as though you wrote it.

7. Our content and who owns it

The wording, comparison tables, ratings and original graphics on this site are copyright Biztech Ltd, publisher of Portable Power Station UK. Reproducing them elsewhere needs our written permission first.

Brand names, product names, logos and product images belong to the companies behind them, and we use them only to identify the products we’re writing about. A short quote is welcome if you credit us clearly and link back.

8. Links to retailers, manufacturers and other sites

Click through to Amazon, a brand’s own shop or any other site and you’ve left ours, so their terms and privacy policy apply from that point. We don’t control their prices, stock, delivery, returns or aftersales.

If you buy, your contract is with that seller, not with us. Anything that goes wrong with an order is theirs to put right.

9. Limitation of liability

The site is published as you find it. We put real effort into getting things right, though we can’t promise every page is complete, current and free of errors at every moment.

We’re not liable for a buying decision you make on the strength of what you read here. Nor are we liable for faults, damage, injury or loss connected with a product once you own it. Those sit with the retailer or the manufacturer, who have duties to you that we don’t.

Nothing on this page removes any right you have under UK law that can’t be excluded, including your rights as a consumer. If part of this section turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still applies.

10. Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the site changes, and the date at the top tells you when we last did. Carrying on using the site means you accept the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Getting in touch

Anything you want to raise about this page can go through our contact form. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours. For how we handle data, see our privacy policy.
